Can't export to las

Post by muzo583 »

Dear Daniel,

I can not export las file which I uploaded correctly. when I tried to export same file as las, error prompts
"PDAL exception writers.las:Unable to convert scaled value(4064716612) to int32 for dimension Y when writing file/path/file.las"

Cheers.

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for responding but it is very strange. Now the file works normally. Is there a possibility like that? if I encounter this error again I can send the file.

Cheers.

That's weird indeed. Don't hesitate to send the file whenever you have an issue ;)

Hello!

I'm having the same issue now. Can't export to LAS or LAZ format.
CC version 2.10.2 Zephyrus on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.

I got my file processed with LAStools v. 190507 (latest from rapidlasso website) using lastile, lasduplicate, las2las, lasmerge. But also the original file doesn't save.

The exception is: PDAL exception 'writers.las: Invalid value '0' for argument 'minor_version'.'

CC version 2.11 alpha (Anoia) was able to export/save into LAS or LAZ formats the mentioned clouds.

Yes in release mode it works. But for.people compiling in debug mode (at least on Windows) it always triggers this exception.

hi there,

I'm using the cloudcompare version v2.11.3 and I run into a similar problem, as I have tried to save a .las file:
PDAL exeption: No type found for undefined dimension.

Has somebody run into a similar problem?
Many thanks for your help.
All the best,
Gregor
