I'm trying to use the shading with the sun (custom light off) but it does not work as expected.
It looks like the sun is aligned with the camera or there is a bug in the shader.
Can't see the sun, only the custom light shows up as a yellow star when turned on.
There are some viewpoint dependent effects, see attachments.
Does anybody else have this issue on mac?
thank you for your help,
Andre

Re: light source / shading issues
I believe this is normal. The default 'sun' light is actually fixed on the viewer (not in +Z for instance). If you want to control the light position, you should disable the 'sun' light, and enable only the custom one. Then you can move it around by keeping the CTRL key (or the mac equivalent?) and the right mouse button: https://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/i ... stom_Light
