Export to pts

Hi Daniel! Long-time user, first-time forum poster :)

In the newest release (2.10.beta) I wanted to save a point cloud as a PTS file. I selected ASCII and chose the PTS option in the wizard, but the file saved was a text file (.txt). Is there something I'm missing? Thanks!

Have you explicitly set the filename extension or have you let CloudCompare do it?

I just named it one word, I didn't add a ".pts"
Is that the fix?

Indeed, PTS is not the default extension for ASCII files... So CC will add the default one if you don't add one yourself.
