a_srs needs a value - LAS export

Hello:

I'm using CloudCompare 2.10-alpha in Windows and I have some troubles working with LiDAR las files. I can import a las file without problem. Then, I retain only a section of the original point cloud and I want to export it also as las file, but the program emits this error:

"a_srs needs a value and must be provided"

I supposed the reason is that no reference system was stablished in the original las file, so I add one (EPSG:25830) using the las2las tool fron LASTools, but I still obtain the same error.

Has anyone had problems with this a_srs error?

Nope, I didn't get this issue.

Which LAS filter did you use? The default 'LAS (*.las, *.laz)' one, or the 'LAS 1.3 or 1.4' one? I tested with the first one and it worked. For the other one, I can't try it right now :D.

If you still have this issue, I would be interested to get the original LAS file. Can you send it to me? (admin [at] cloudcompare.org)

Ok, the bug has been fixed (the latest 2.10.alpha version has been updated)
