Extract Sections along polylines tool problem

Hello there,

I simply can't understand why I get straight lines across a point cloud i´ve scanned.
I must be doing something wrong, I can't get the "Extract Sections along polylines" tool to work properly.

The extract tool is apparently not using the points from the pointcloud sometimes. It can be seen from the extracted cloud sections that the lines does not follow sometimes.

Can someone help me?

Indeed, it seems the algorithm that extracts the concave envelope fails to reach some bumps... Not sure to know why though. This algorithm is very tricky.

What could a solution to this problem look like?

Sadly, only some intense debugging of the algorithm could help understand the issue... And it's probably a matter of a particular threshold somewhere.
