Is there any chance of getting a Mac build of the latest beta 2.6.1?
I have used the beta on windows and the latest plugins and contour support are very useful.

Mac OS CloudCompare 2.5.5
I just downloaded the Mac version 2.5.5
Both CloudCompare.app and ccViewer.app quit unexpectedly at launch
I am on an iMac with OS X Version 10.9.4
I tried deleting preference .plist but no effect.

Re: FARO *.fls format
Is this SDK enough to provide .fls support?

Andy,
Thanks for the LAS support. I have not tested thoroughly but loaded several files without a hitch.
Nice work.

Daniel, Here are two links to PLY files. https://www.dropbox.com/s/dhqtb1vhtrgbv8r/FMHP_RU_sparse_binary.ply https://www.dropbox.com/s/tqggizeqawzlsrv/FMHP_RU_sparse.ply They are supposed have identical data - the first one is a binary PLY file and the second is an ascii version of the exact same fi...

Re: Automatic offset limit
Hmmm,
On second thought. Should 1,000,000 actually exceed the float data type?
I will check an ascii version of the PLY and see if the coordinates themselves are being truncated or rounded, but if not, shouldn't the property float support 2^32 values?

Re: Automatic offset limit
That also was quick. The PLY file was made by PhotoScan and I have already reported it as a bug.
Thank you for your expertise.

Re: Automatic offset limit
Daniel,
Here is a sparse cloud of the building. No faces, but it does show the issue.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Re: CloudCompare.app & ccViewer.app
Andy,
I will be testing some things soon - I hope. I do have an interest in the LAS file format but don't know how hard that would be.
I like haveing the DMG. Whatever makes it the most maintainable.
Thanks for your efforts!
