I have a randomly oriented (rough) surface, which I want to rotated into the x-y-plane. As I saw there are two options in CC:

1. Use the Tool Fit->Plane and edit the surface by "Apply Transformation" where it is possible to paste the matrix calculated before.
2. Use RANSAC to find the fitting ...

o.k. that sounds good. But, sorry I can't find the post or download file of version 2.6.3. Not in the cc-forum or on google...Do you remember the title of the post or perhaps the week or month to reduce possibilities?

Although I recently updated the drivers of my graphic card, it does not fullfill the requirements for CloudCompare 2.7 (OpenGL 2.1). So I fear that I will not be able to use CloudCompare ...

Hi!

I'm quite new in 3D data processing and want to work with CC. I created a .stl file by the use of a 3D photogrammetric scanner (GOM ATOS).

But unfortunately I can not open the file in CC.

When I start CC in the console it is written:
[ccGL Window::paintGL] OpenGL error: invalid enumerator ...
