OK, my meshes are not closed, they are open...
In some cases the results have been better if i rotate the mesh 90 degrees and then unroll to axis x

I dont understand.......
I unroll meshes with texture and it works very well.....
Why you say it only work with points? For me it works with textured meshes.

can someone explain the parameters for unrolling a cone?
In my opinion the result has to be similar to a circle, unfortunately I can not get to this result.....

Thanks for the quick answer,
can i rotate around a given point with apply tranformation?
In the moment i move the rotation-point to 0,0,0 and then apply the rotation, is there a possibility to to this with one step?
