AWS Virtual Machines
I left my laptop charger at home (I'm on a business trip) and my MS Surface is wholly inadequate. So I had this great idea to spin up an AWS instance with 16 CPU's and 32GB RAM. I downloaded cloudcompare. Installed and lunched it... nothing. Anyone have an idea how to get cloudcompare to run on Wind...

Re: Removing points from overlapping scans by specific scans
Just out curiosity, what is the use case for a pointcloud with corrected colors instead of using the photospheres?

Re: imagery embeded into E57 files
Okay, progress on this mystery. I opened the e57 in recap and saved it as an e57 without the images. Works great in CC. The file was 10GB less. (239 sweeps). The sensors are present along with the individual clouds. I can unpack the e57 with e57unpack.exe into a directory structure and delete the im...

Quad Buffered Stereo rendering or SBS
Are there any modern GPU's that support Quad Buffered Stereo rendering? I am trying to get the model onto a Lumepad via Moonlight 3D and on a Meta Quest Pro, but haven't had any luck. Every option just gives the same message: "It seems your graphic card doesn't support Quad Buffered Stereo rend...

Neat scan, where is that?
